Pirelli’s new ultra-soft tyres will make their first appearance of the Formula 1 season at May’s Monaco Grand Prix.
With Pirelli announcing Canada’s tyre options before Monaco’s, it has initially been assumed that the ultra-softs would first run at the Montreal street circuit.
Pirelli, though, were quick to reveal that they would in fact make their debut one race earlier in Monaco.
The tyre manufacturer has now confirmed the remaining compounds for the weekend.
The drivers will have the soft and super-softs available and will have to use those two at some point during the grand prix while the ultra-softs must be run in Q3 for those who make it into the final qualifying segment.
