Sergio Perez has "two options" on the table for next season but the good news for Force India is that he reckons it is a "great place for me".

Perez's future has yet to be resolved although the Mexican racer is reportedly on the verge of agreeing a new deal with Force India, who have made it clear that they want him to stay.

For now, though, nothing has been signed although Perez says he is "really close" to doing so.

"Two options, to be quite frank, but I don't want to comment too much on those," he said ahead of the Singapore GP.

"I'm really close to signing the contract.

"I think Force India is a team that is definitely capable of giving you a car to show your talent and that's very important.

"Let's see what happens but, I definitely feel that it's a great place for me."

Asked if his decision would be influenced by negotiations going on with other drivers and teams, he replied: "No, not really.

"I was quite clear in my mind what I wanted to do. So, it didn't change anything."
