#PF1’s social media hub

We know how frustrating it can be to find all follow all the teams and drivers on social media sites just to keep up with the latest behind the scenes information. So we’ve teamed up with RightNow Digital to bring you a brand new section of the site that pulls together all the key social information from twitter, facebook, youtube and instagram in one place.
No longer do you need to switch between several sites to get your latest fill of what’s going on in the sport – you can see everything you need here on PlanetF1. There’s no need to clog up your facebook timeline with random F1 updates, or subscribe to the 15 youtube channels which we have aggregated for you.
Created with passionate fans in mind, our new social section is pre-populated with over 200 relevant social and video sources and has been specifically designed to provide easy, instant access to all the latest F1 social media. So you can always be up to date with the latest news, gossip and opinion wherever you are and whenever you need to. We think this opens up the amazing world of social content for fans of all kinds, no matter how technology savvy you may be.
The main social page displays all the latest social media from every voice that matters across the sport. Each item displayed is shareable on social networks. In addition if you click on the account name of an item, the currently viewed column will filter to display only the social media updates from that account.
If you click on the timestamp of any item, it will open the original social media source in a new tab window. If you click on the logo on any item the page will update to show all the latest content from only that source. Clicking on #hashtags or @usernames will also filter the current content to display only relevant items from our trusted sources.
The other columns on the page are like a directory of teams, drivers and circuits, alongside all the latest content from the different social channels. If you are a fan of a specific team, you can select them in the middle column, which will take you to a page with only the social media from that team and its drivers. If you click on a driver or a circuit, you can get all the latest updates directly from them. Bookmark these pages so you can quickly catch up whenever it takes your fancy.
So if you want to know about Ferrari’s programme during free practice, or have a chuckle as Force India, Renault and Mercedes engage in their witty grand prix weekend banter or know which holiday hot-spots are likely to bag you a Formula 1 autograph, you can gather all that information in one place, PlanetF1’s social media hub.
We’ve included all the teams, drivers, engine partners and even some of the up-and-coming drivers who could be the stars of the future. If there is anyone you feel should be added to the hub, let us know.
And if you show yourself to be a number fan with dedicated Formula 1 opinions, you could even grab a spot on the PlanetF1 hub as we will run a competition later in the season.
