The 2016 has yet to begin but Pirelli have already revealed that the new ultra-soft compound will be in use at round seven, the Canadian Grand Prix.
This season teams will be permitted to choose from three compounds at each grand prix weekend.
There are, however, some guidelines such as each driver must save one set of the softest compound – for Canadian that will be the ultra-soft – to be used in Q3.
The other compounds available for the Montreal race will be the softs and the super-softs.
As for the one compound all the drivers have to use during the grand prix, that will be the soft tyres of which they must have two sets available but only need to use one if they so choose.
