Sebastian Vettel led yet another Red Bull 1-2 as the four-time World Champion set the pace ahead of Mark Webber in final practice.

Kimi Raikkonen, heading out with in a short wheelbased Lotus, set the early pace with a 1:45.0 and held his rivals at bay at least until Sebastian Vettel ventured out. The four-time World Champion put in three purple sectors on his way to a 1:44.117.

Raikkonen fought back to take the lead by 0.168s only for Vettel to again put in fastest sector times in all three to head the timesheets with a 1:43.795. His team-mate Mark Webber joined him at the front, just 0.028s down on the German’s best.

The McLaren drivers took the fight to the Bulls with Lewis Hamilton slotting into third place and Nico Rosberg fourth. Both were just 0.1s off the place. It was all change minutes later as the Mercs hit the front with Rosberg clocking a 1:43.784 while Hamilton was 0.001s behind his team-mate.

Vettel came back to put a quarter of a second between himself and the Mercedes drivers only for Rosberg to again go quickest, a 1:43.465.

With 15 minutes of the session remaining Jules Bianchi’s session came to its conclusion when he spun off and tagged the barrier, damaging the front left.

The final ten minutes saw the drivers swap to the soft tyres with Button the first to do it, 1.5s up, Hamilton then took over at the top only to lose out to Vettel. The Red Bull racer posted a 1:41.351 to take the lead by 0.229s. Webber put in a late lap to go second, 0.222s down.
