Revised European GP grid

Three penalties will be applied to the European GP grid after Sergio Perez, Carlos Sainz and Kevin Magnussen were hit with the five-place grid drops.

Perez qualified in second place for Sunday’s race at the Baku street circuit but will line up P7 due to the penalty.

His five-place grid drop is the result of a gearbox change penalty, which he incurred in the wake of his FP3 crash.

Sainz will drop from 13th to 18th after Toro Rosso changed his gearbox after qualifying.

Meanwhile Magnussen will start from the pit lane as Renault opted to change his gearbox ahead of Sunday’s race.
