Nico Rosberg has claimed that he is not concerned about his teammate Lewis Hamilton storming to victory in six of the last seven races of the F1 calendar.
Relinquishing a 43-point lead, Rosberg is now 19-points behind Hamilton on the Drivers’ Championship table, something he is not too bothered about.
The German driver explained that he has not been demotivated by the success of the Brit, especially after his dominant display at the Hockenheimring.
“No, I have enough evidence to show myself that I’m strongest after difficult moments, time and time again, so no issues there,” Rosberg told Press Association.
“Lewis doesn’t just seem strong in the recent grands prix, Lewis is strong, so there is a big difference. It’s always going to be a battle against him.
“I’m disappointed because I had an awesome qualifying and I was really optimistic I could bring it home, so I am just very disappointed that everything went wrong.”
