Michael Schumacher is responding to treatment; that's according to former Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo.
Reports of Schumacher's health have been few and far between as his family has decided to keep his condition private.
This has led to an array of reports, some claiming positive news and others the opposite.
However, according to di Montezemolo, Schumacher's healthy is improving.
"I'm very pleased to know that he is reacting," he told Ecumenical News.
"I know how strong he is. I'm sure that thanks to his determination, which will be crucial, he will come out from this very, very difficult situation."
Seven-time F1 Champion Schumacher suffered a severe head injury in a skiing accident in the French Alps in December 2013.
