Michael Schumacher has brushed off Eddie Irvine’s latest dig in which his former team-mate said he had “lost his talent.”

Irvine, who partnered Schumacher for four seasons at Ferrari, claiming just four race wins during their time together, criticised Schumacher in the latest edition of British magazine Autosport.

According to Irvine, Schumacher has “lost his talent.”

Schumacher, though, isn’t letting the Irishman’s dig get to him.

“No, it is not (frustrating),” he said when asked if he was irritated by his inability to reproduce the feats of his glory days.

“But we all know Eddie – he is always good for a nice sentence isn’t he?

“So, for me, this is okay.”
