Bruno Senna “will race for Williams” this season according to one of his backer, Brazil’s richest businessman Eike Batista.
Last season, Brazilian company EBX announced that they would sponsor Senna when the 28-year-old stepped up to replace Nick Heidfeld at Lotus Renault GP.
And it appears that the company, which is headed by Batista, will continue to back the Brazilian.
Senna, though, is currently without a Formula One race-seat for this year’s Championship, although rumours have linked him to Williams.
And although the 28-year-old insists that for now they are just rumours, Batista is adamant it’s only a matter of time before the deal is announced.
“Simple, he will race for Williams,” Batista tweeted.
