Southampton will be looking to extend their unbeaten run when they face struggling Bournemouth at St Mary's on Sunday afternoon.

The Saints are unbeaten in their last six outings in all competitions, winning four of those and drawing two.

They currently sit eighth in the Premier League standings and come into the game off the back of a 2-1 win over Aston Villa in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday.

Sadio Mane will return to the starting line-up after serving his one-match ban in midweek following his sending off against Liverpool last weekend.

Jay Rodriguez is a doubt with a foot injury, while Shane Long remains sidelined with an ankle injury.

Bournemouth, meanwhile, have not won a game in any of their last five attempts, losing four and drawing one.

Their form sees them sit down in 17th position in the standings, just two points clear of the relegation trio.

The Cherries have lost their last two league outings by 5-1 scorelines and most recently lost 1-0 to Liverpool in the League Cup in midweek.

Artur Boruc could come back into the side having lost his place for the cup tie, while Harry Arter is also in contention after making his return against the Reds.
