Toro Rosso, the second of Red Bull’s two teams, is the junior outfit with the purpose of blooding the energy drink’s young stars.

As such drivers don’t often spend a lot of time at Toro Rosso, which has its origins in the Minardi team.
Starting in 2006, STR’s great success was undoubtedly the 2008 Championship in which Sebastian Vettel took pole position and the victory at a wet Italian Grand Prix.
One, though, could argue that Vettel is the team’s great success as he has since gone onto win World titles with senior team Red Bull.
In his place, STR have continued their search for F1’s next great driver with Jean-Eric Vergne and Russian rookie Daniil Kyvat the two to ply their trade in 2014.
But whether either can make the most of this year’s new regulations and pull off a miracle by emulating Vettel remains to be seen.
