Wehrlein cleared to test

Pascal Wehrlein will be behind the wheel of Sauber’s C36 come Tuesday’s running at the Circuit de Catalunya after being given the go-ahead by doctors.
Wehrlein was kept out of the opening pre-season test having injured his back when he crashed in January’s Race of Champions.
His place in the opening test was handed to Ferrari’s third driver Antonio Giovinazzi while team-mate Marcus Ericsson was also in action.
Wehrlein, though, has now been cleared to take part in the second test which begins in Spain on Tuesday.
Update on @PWehrlein: We are pleased to inform that Pascal will be ready to hit the track with the #C36 tomorrow. #F1Testing pic.twitter.com/POAtQCaBUv
